What if you could look at your clock and know everything around you from your grocery list to the weather to your news feed, and of course the time. This cool stuff is now a reality.
The Coolest Clock, developed by Vienna-based a tout le Monde Studios, will be soon in our houses, thanks to an Indiegogo campaign that raised over $144,000 surpassing its goal of $20,000.
This time piece is basically a projector that can be customized to fit your decor with customizable skins. You can also adjust the brightness of the clock's display, so it won't glow at all hours of the night.
The coolest clock is controlled using your smartphone. Once logged in to the app, users can select which features they want displayed. The clock can present the daily and weekly weather forecasts, show Facebook updates, tweets from friends, your news feeds and latest scores.
In addition, you can notify your family of your location via your smartphone, which will be displayed on the clock. Not just that, you can also share what song you are listening to and also share photos that you care to show them
Being an energy saver, it uses a low-energy Bluetooth chip that syncs with your smart phone and automatically shuts on or off when you enter or leave the room. You can also adjust between digital and analog time modes, daylight saving adjustment, and multiple time zones.
The team looks towards adding additional features as well such as sound to enable music and radio play and additional face colors, before the expected ship date of December 2015.
